Krampus Run, Whitby, North Yorkshire 2017

Krampus Whitby North Yorkshire

Krampus Run Whitby, in it’s third year, is inspired by similar Krampus festivities in countries including Germany, Austria, Italy and Croatia.

LaFolklore has it that Krampus is a horned,  half-goat, half-demon who, during the Christmas season, punishes children who have misbehaved, the opposite to Saint Nicholas, who rewards the well-behaved children with gifts.

The wonderful people from Decadent Drawing in Whitby, Scarborough, North Yorkshire had their very own Krampus Run through the streets of Whitby, collecting money for the Whitby Wildlife Sanctuary.
